New Zealand temporarily bans Indian travellers
New Zealand has temporarily suspended entry for all Indian travellers including its own citizens. The step has been taken because of the increasing COVID-19 cases in the country. The suspension will be for two weeks. New Zealand at its border recorded 23 new cases, 17 of which were from India.
PM Modi and Seychelles President inaugurates major projects
Prime Minister Modi and Seychelles President inaugurated various Indian projects in Seychelles. The latest projects are part of India’s Indo-pacific vision. This will also be the first interaction between both the leaders after the Seychelles President came to power in October 2020.

The Agriculture Minister has launched Madhukranti Portal and Honey Corners. The portal will be for the online registration to achieve the source of honey and other beehive products on the digital platform. The portal will help in spreading ‘Sweet Revolution’ all over the country.
Advanced Chaff Technology developed by DRDO
DRDO has successfully developed advanced Chaff Technology. It will help in guarding the naval ships against missile attacks. Chaff technology is used by various countries to protect their naval ships from enemy radar and missile seekers.
Tribal Health Collaborative launched
The Tribal Health Collaborative ‘Anamaya’ has been launched by Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Arjun Munda. The initiative by the Health Ministry will help in enhancing the health and nutrition status of the Indian Tribal Communities. It is in association with Piramal Foundation and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
