Amanda Sobhy from US won the finals of the women's World junior individual squash championship by defeating Egyptian rival Nour El Tayeb in the final on 29 June 2010. She is the first US winner of the prestigious World Squash Federation event. women's World junior individual squash championship was organized from 25 to 29 June 2010 in Germany.
On 28 June 2010 Second seeded Dipika Pallikal of India was defeated by Nour El Tayeb of Egypt in the semi-finals of the women's World junior individual squash championship which is being held in Cologne, Germany. Her defeat marked her exit from the tournament.
