AFCAT Application Form 2024

The Indian Air Force (IAF) will release the AFCAT 2 application form 2024 on its website on 30 June 2024. Candidates who fulfil the AFCAT eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the AFCAT website afcat.cdac.in. The last date to fill the application form is 28 June up to 5 PM. 

It is mandatory for the candidates to fill out the AFCAT form correctly and also upload all the required documents in the correct format. Other than this, candidates must also ensure that they have submitted the requisite application fee to avoid rejection of their application forms. Candidates who apply successfully for the AFCAT 2 exam will be issued the admit card to appear for the exam which is scheduled for August 25, 26 & 27, 2024 for filling up a total of 276 vacancies. How to Apply Online for AFCAT 2 Exam 2024?

The detailed procedure to fill the above-mentioned stage-wise AFCAT 2 application form 2024 is given below here. 

Step 1: AFCAT Registration 2024

- Visit the AFCAT official website. 

- Click on ‘Candidate Login’ that appears on AFCAT home page. 

- Candidates will have to register by clicking on the  ‘Not yet Registered? Register Here’ link that appears on the page. 

- The following details will have to be filled up in the AFCAT registration page: 

- Once you have registered successfully for the AFCAT 2 exam 2024, you will receive the password on your registered email ID

Step 2: AFCAT Apply Online 

After successful registration for AFCAT exam, the next step is to apply online. 

- Candidates need to login with their registered email ID and password that they received on their email id.

- Select the type of entry, AFCAT, NCC Special Entry for Flying Branch that you will be applying for.

- Read the instructions carefully

- Click the checkbox to proceed to the next stage

- Click ‘Application Form Filling’

- The following details will have to be filled in the AFCAT application form. 

Payment of AFCAT Examination Fees 

Once the AFCAT 2 form has been filled up, the candidates need to pay the requisite amount of application fee. The AFCAT fee is Rs. 250/- . The fee can be paid online through credit/ debit cards/ net banking

Documents to Upload in AFCAT Application Form 2024 

Candidates will have to upload the following documents in the AFCAT 2 application form. 

- Signature of the candidate

- Recent Photograph

- Thumb impression - Male applicants have to upload the left thumb impression while female candidates must upload their right thumb impression

AFCAT 2024 Application Form Correction 

IAF will activate the AFCAT 2 2024 application form correction window after the application process is closed, i.e. after 30th June. Candidates are given the option to make corrections in only two section of the AFCAT application form, 'Fill Application Form' and 'Upload Document'. 

No additional fee has to be paid to correct the application form. Candidates who have registered successfully and paid the application fee can correct the form. The following details can be corrected in the AFCAT application form 2024: 

- Candidate's name

- Father's name

- Passport Size Photo

- Signature

AFCAT 2 2024 application form can be corrected through the following steps: 

- Visit the official website of AFCAT. 

- Go to the candidate's login page andlogin using the valid credentials. 

- Click on the application form correction link

- Make corrections wherever required and save it.
