Putting an end to their decade-long wait, KKR displayed dominance, restricting SRH to a mere 113 runs before swiftly chasing down the target with 9.3 overs to spare. This victory adds to KKR's previous triumphs in 2012 and 2014.

For their remarkable performance, KKR received a cash prize of Rs 20 crore as the champions of IPL 2024, while the runners-up, SRH, took home Rs 12.5 crore.

IPL Final 2024 Winner And Runner Up Prize Money

The BCCI unveiled the prize money for the IPL 2024 champions, setting a total prize pool of Rs 46.5 crore. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) emerged victorious in the final match and received Rs 20 crore in prize money. Harshal Patel made history by becoming the second bowler in IPL history to secure the Purple Cap twice. His achievement earned him a cash prize of 10 Lakhs.\
