IPL 2025 Schedule: Teams and Groups

In IPL 2025, each team will play twice against the teams in their group and once against most teams from the other group, except for one designated opponent, whom they will play twice.

The top four teams at the end of the league stage will qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams will compete in Qualifier 1 on May 20 in Hyderabad, with the winner advancing directly to the final in Kolkata on May 25.

The third and fourth-placed teams will play the Eliminator. The winner of this match will then face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2, which will decide the second finalist.

  • Group A: Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Punjab Kings (PBKS), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
  • Group B: Mumbai Indians (MI), Gujarat Titans (GT), Delhi Capitals (DC), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

The IPL 2025 will be held across 13 venues in India. Each of the ten franchises has a home stadium. Additionally, some teams will split their home games between two venues.
