The IPL 2025 season starts on March 22 (Saturday) with Kolkata Knight Riders, the defending champions, facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Here’s the list of the upcoming IPL 2025 matches:

IPL 2025 Schedule: Teams and Groups

In IPL 2025, each team will play twice against the teams in their group and once against most teams from the other group, except for one designated opponent, whom they will play twice.

The top four teams at the end of the league stage will qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams will compete in Qualifier 1 on May 20 in Hyderabad, with the winner advancing directly to the final in Kolkata on May 25.

The third and fourth-placed teams will play the Eliminator. The winner of this match will then face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2, which will decide the second finalist.

Three teams will play home games at two different venues:

• Delhi Capitals (DC) will play home games in Visakhapatnam and New Delhi.
• Rajasthan Royals (RR) will play home games in Guwahati and Jaipur.
• Punjab Kings (PBKS) will play home games in New Chandigarh and Dharamsala.

The final will be played in Kolkata. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be played in Hyderabad, while Kolkata will host the Qualifier.

Match Timings and Double-Headers: When to Watch IPL 2025?

The IPL 2025 season is set to commence on March 22, 2025, with the opening match featuring the Kolkata Knight Riders against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

• Evening Match: Chennai Super Kings vs. Mumbai Indians at 7:30 PM IST.
