For now, the output is text-based; however, OpenAI plans to include embedded images, data visualizations, and other analytical outputs in future updates.
Limitations and Challenges
Deep Research Mode is a giant leap in AI capabilities, but it is not without its challenges. OpenAI admits that the AI can still hallucinate, meaning it may produce false or fabricated information. The system may also fail to distinguish between authoritative sources and unreliable information.
