The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the registration deadline for the 2028 Matric and Intermediate examinations to October 24, 2026. The extension applies to eligible Class 9 and 11 students, whose registrations must be completed by their respective schools through the official portals.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has given schools additional time to complete registrations for students who will appear for the Matric and Intermediate annual examinations in 2028. The revised deadline is now October 24, 2026, instead of the earlier date of October 10.
The extension was announced by BSEB Chairman Dr Tyagarajan S.M. It gives schools more time to complete the registration process for eligible students who are currently studying in Class 9 and Class 11.
The registration process is important for students planning to appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations in 2028. Students should contact their respective schools to check whether their details have been submitted.

The extended registration window covers two groups of students:
- Class 9 students: Their registration is for the Bihar Board Matric (Class 10) annual examination in 2028.
- Class 11 students: Their registration is for the Bihar Board Intermediate (Class 12) annual examination in 2028.

The extension gives institutions more time to complete pending registrations. However, students should not assume that their registration is complete without confirmation from their school.
