DADS Portal to Facilitate Document Availability
The launch of the DADS portal by the Board comes at a crucial time, as during pandemic, many ex-students are unable to reach out to the board physically to get Duplicate Documents issued in their name. In such scenario, this portal will provide a safe, quick and viable solution to the students to get their marksheets, certificates and other documents amid the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. In order to avail any of the facilities of the CBSE DADS portal, students will need to first register themselves on the portal and then make a formal application for issuance of duplicate documents.
CBSE Board, in its formal document has mentioned that “The (DADS) facility will obviate the human contact and physical presence of the students required so far and cut short the travel, time and energy spent by students and parents who can now obtain duplicate marksheets, passing certificate, migration certificate through this online portal.”
Choice Between Physical and Digital Copies
One the major advantages of the CBSE’s new DADS portal is that it will provide students the choice or option to get their duplicate documents issued either as Physical Copies or in Digital form. In case of issuance of digital copies, the DADS portal will process and issue the same at the earliest and share the same with students via safe and secure channels. Alternatively, in case a student needs physical duplicate copy of their certificate, it would be sent to them via speed post. The speed posts of the documents will be monitored by a tracking system, the number of which will be provided to the student.
