The University of Hyderabad has postponed the entrance examinations for the admissions to the new academic session. According to the revised Academic Calendar released on the official website of the university, the entrance examinations and the admission process for the fresh batch will be conducted from August 1 to 31, 2020. The university has released the revised academic calendar in the form of a PDF document that is available for download on the website.
According to the revised schedule given, the commencement of classes for the ongoing batch will be from August 12, 2020, while the classes or the fresh batch is scheduled to begin from September 1, 2020.
Candidates interested to apply for the Postgraduate courses offered at the University of Hyderabad must note that the last date to submit the online application forms is May 22, 2020. Revised Academic Calendar
According to the dates provided on the revised academic calendar the third, fourth and fifth-year Ph.D. students of science schools are required to report on June 15, 2020, while the Ph.D. students from other schools are required to report on June 22, 2020, and the remaining Ph.D. and M.Phil students are required to report on June 29, 2020.

According to the press release issued by the university it has been stated that the university has made it optional for the final semester students to appear for the special end-semester examinations in case they are not satisfied with their grades on the basis of the continuous assessment and past performance. The optional special examinations will be conducted by the university from July 4 to 10, 2020.

The end semester examinations for the students will be conducted from August 3 to 11, 2020, while the results will be declared between August 12 to 18, 2020. The supplementary examinations will be conducted from August 24 to 31, 2020.
