IGNOU MBA Admission 2021: Want to join an MBA programme but don’t want to appear for an Entrance Test; in that case IGNOU’s newly launched MBA course might be the perfect bet for you. IGNOU i.e. the Indira Gandhi National Open University, has launched a unique MBA programme that doesn’t require aspirants to qualify any entrance exam in order to be eligible to apply for admission to it. This new MBA programme, designed by IGNOU, is approved by the AICTE and is of two years’ duration. Currently, varsity is accepting applications for admission to this programme.
Course Curriculum Designed by Experts
Talking about the new MBA programme launched by IGNOU, S. Raja Rao, Senior Regional Director, IGNOU Visakhapatnam Centre said that the course and its curriculum has been designed by experts and industry leaders keeping in mind the contemporary needs of the students as well as the market. The course has been designed keeping in mind needs of both, fresh graduates as well as working personnel. It incorporates latest industry requirements and practices which will ensure high employability of the students who graduate after completing this course.
Eligibility Criteria
Now coming to the most interesting aspect of this new course, the eligibility criteria! Unlike the other MBA programmes offered by IGNOU, this new course doesn’t need applicants to clear any entrance exam including IGNOU OPENMAT 2021. Admission to IGNOU MBA Course is offered on the basis of merit secured in qualifying examination. Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree, of minimum three years’ duration and with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) are eligible for admission.
How to Apply or Register for IGNOU MBA Admission 2021?
The new MBA course has been launched as part of the July session and currently the application process for the same is underway. There is no entrance test for admission into the MBA programme. The last date for admission is 30th Sept 2021. Taking into account the current situation, the application process has been made online to ensure students are able to complete it easily. You can Register for IGNOU MBA Admissions 2021 until 20th September via the Samarth Portal of the Varsity i.e. ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
