Indian Institute of Technology Delhi will soon be conducting the 3rd SciTech Spins on November 20, 2021. The event will be conducted from 10 AM onwards. The institution will be delivering the 3rd SciTech Spin lecture titled ‘Materials that Matter’ along with laboratory demonstrations. The event will be live-streamed on YouTube. Those interested in participating can watch the lectures from the official YouTube channel.
The Sci-Tech Spin is an initiative taken by IIT Delhi to reach out to school students from classes 9 to 12. The students attending the event will also be given e-certificates for participation by the institution.

Lectures delivered
The 3rd SciTech Spins will include lectures delivered by Professor Ashok K Ganguli of the Department of Chemistry who will be delivering the talk on Materials in Nature and For the Future and Professor Rajesh Prasad from the Department of Material Science and Engineering who will be speaking on Sinking of Ships and Falling of Aircraft: The Science of Deformation. Students participating must note that the lecture would decode several interesting answers to questions such as Why did the Titanic Sink? What can one learn from nature?
