NEET 2020 Counselling Schedule to be released on the official website of MCC soon

The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee will be conducting the NEET  2020 counselling soon.

NEET 2020 Counselling Procedure


NEET 2020 Counselling: The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee will be conducting the NEET  2020 counselling soon. The counselling schedule is expected to be released on the official website soon. The NEET 2020 examination results were declared on the official website on October 16, 2020. 

Candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 examinations will be eligible to participate in the NEETt 2020 counselling with the admissions being held for the 15 percent All India Quota seats in the government medical and dental colleges in the country along with the seats in the central and deemed universities and Armed Forces Medical Colleges. The admissions to the remaining 85 percent of the seats in the state government colleges and private colleges across the unaided/aided minority and non minority medical or dental colleges will be conducted through the state NEET counselling process. 

NEET 2020 Counselling Process

Candidates eligible for the NEET 2020 counselling process are required to first complete the NEET Counselling 2020 registration process on the official website following which they can submit the online application fee. Candidates applying for the counselling procedure are also required to complete the choice filling and locking procedure for the admissions to the MBBS programmes. 

After the NEET counselling 2020 choice filling and choice locking process the seat allotment list will be released on the official MCC counselling website. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the respective colleges are required to report to the colleges to complete the further admission procedure. 

NEET Seat Intake

According to data provided, close to 317 MBBS and 22 Dental ESIC seats will be available in the All India Quota. Earlier the medical or dental seats were filled under the IP Quota in ESIC Medical or Dental colleges and the seats will now be filled by the DGHS under the AIQ seats. For further seat allocation and admission procedures candidates who have qualified for the examinations are advised to keep visiting the official website of NTA.
