Pune University Backlog Exams 2020: As per the latest update, the Savitribai Phule Pune University, SPPU is all set to hold the Pune University Backlog Exams 2020 for all the students from 8th December 2020 onwards in online mode. Candidates who are due to appear for the SSPU Backlog Exams can attempt the mock-tests for the same by logging onto the university portal at sps.unipune.ac.in. SSPU Backlog Exam 2020 – Important Guidelines
As the exams are being held online due to the prevailing pandemic situation in the state, the university has published a detailed document providing all the necessary guidelines and SOPs that are to be followed by the students. The key among them are listed below:
- Performance Improvement Exams Along with Backlog Exams: Pune University will be holding Backlog exams for students who have to clear any subject-level exams for any course starting from 8th December 2020. Along with this, the university also plans to hold Performance Improvement Examination for students who appeared for the October Exam but are not satisfied with the results awarded to them.
- Exam Format and Duration: As the SSPU Backlog Exams 2020 are being held online, the exam format that will be followed would be MCQ i.e. Multiple Choice Questions. The total question paper would consist of 60 Multiple Choice Questions of which candidates will be required to answer any 50 questions in time duration of 1 Hour. In terms of Difficulty Level, 40% of the questions would be easy, while other 40% would be of moderate difficulty level. The rest of the 20% questions would be tough.
- Exam Link via SMS / Email: Students who have registered for Backlog exam or the Performance Improvement Exams will be notified about the exam platform and the link for the same would be shared with them on their registered Mobile Number through SMS or on their registered email ID.
- Extra Time: In case of any technical glitches or problems marring the exam, students will be provided extra time that is equivalent with the disruption. On similar lines, students with disabilities would be given additional 20 minutes to attempt the examination.
- Mock Tests: Candidates who are due to appear for the Backlog and PIE are advised to take up mocktests by visiting sps.unipune.ac.in to understand the basic technical requirements. Taking up mocktest will also familiarize them with the exam format and other similar requirements as well.
