Sri Lankan delegation visited Delhi’s CM shri Schools to learn about innovative education initiatives, school infrastructure.
Delhi CM Shri School Visit: A five-member delegation from Sri Lanka visited a CM Shri School in Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi, to understand developments and initiatives in Delhi's education sector. The delegation reviewed technology-enabled classrooms and student-centric facilities as part of its visit to study education-related developments in different parts of India.
Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood interacted with the delegation during the visit. He said the members had expressed interest in understanding the changes taking place in Delhi's education system. The delegation is touring different parts of India to study political and social issues and also sought to learn about initiatives being implemented in the education sector.
Sri Lankan Delegation Visits CM Shri School in Sarojini Nagar
The delegation comprised Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva and other officials. During the visit, the members were shown several facilities at the CM Shri School, including smart classrooms, digital libraries, ICT labs, care rooms for children with special needs (CWSN) and multi-sectoral skill labs.
The delegation also learnt about the 'Science of Living' programme and other initiatives designed to create an engaging and technology-enabled learning environment for students.
According to Ashish Sood, the delegation appreciated the initiatives showcased during the visit and expressed interest in receiving more details about the Delhi government's education-related efforts.

The visit provided the delegation an opportunity to observe the infrastructure and learning facilities available at a CM Shri School. The facilities include technology-enabled classrooms and specialised spaces aimed at supporting different aspects of student learning.
The delegation was also briefed on initiatives related to technology-based learning and facilities for students with special needs. The visit comes as part of its broader effort to understand education-related practices being implemented in India.
