WBBSE Class 10 board exams: West Bengal Class 10 board examinations begin from today - March 7, 2022. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Madhyamik Pariksha 2022 is being conducted in the offline mode across the 4194 exam centres across the state. The WBBSE class 10 exams will be conducted until March 16, 2022. The WBBSE 10th exams will be conducted from 11:45 AM to 3 PM.
As per the details available, over 6.21 Lakh girls and 4.96 lakh boys will be appearing for the WBBSE Class 10 board exams. The first exam will be the first language paper and the last exams will be optional elective subjects on March 16, 2022.
WBBSE Class 10 Exam guidelines
Since the WBBSE Class 10 exams are being conducted in the offline mode amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, WBBSE President Kalyanmoy Ganguly mentioned the arrangements of the board to conduct the exams in a safe environment.
He further added that the COVID-19 protocols will be implemented strictly and the exam centres will be sanitized regularly. None of the candidates appearing will be allowed to enter the exam centre without masks.
WBBSE 10th Exam Details
According to the details from the 4194 exam centres 1934 exam centres are in Kolkata and every exam centre will have an isolation ward for students with fever.
As per data available, more students are appearing for the West Bengal Class 10 board exams. In the previous year, over 5.53 Lakh girls and 4.43 boys appeared for the WBBSE class 10 exams.
The number of girls appearing for the board exams remains high this year as well.
