The only way to reserve a place in the final list of UPSC IAS Exam is to perform well in every stage of UPSC IAS Exam. The marks of UPSC IAS Preliminary Exam does not consider while preparing the final merit list but it includes the marks of all the papers of UPSC IAS Mains Exam (Written Test) such as General Studies Papers, Essay, and the marks of two optional papers opted by the IAS aspirants.
