Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be an Indian National or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
  • Must work in a permanent position in a public-funded engineering institution in India.
  • Must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of service left in the parent organization as of the award date.
  • Must not be holding any other fellowship. If selected, the applicant must opt for only one.

Fellowship Amount for Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation Fellowship 2025

Selected fellows will receive the following financial support:

  • ₹25,000 per month as fellowship amount (in addition to regular salary).
  • Research grant of ₹15.00 lakh per annum.
  • Overhead grant of ₹1.00 lakh per annum to the host institute.
