AIPMT 2014: Admit Cards to be Downloaded from 1 April

    The Admit Cards for the All India Pre Medical Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2014 will be available to download from 01 April 2014 but for the candidates who have applied for the test without late fee. And, those who have applied with late fee will be able to access their admit cards from 10 April 2014.

    Candidates can download their admit cards, which will be available online only and will not be sent by post, on official website: www.aipmt.nic.in. They are required to keep admit cards intact until the admission process completes fully.

    The information to be shown in admit card are – candidate’s Name, Roll Number, Father's Name, Category, Sub-Category, Photograph, Signature, Date of Birth, and Language of Question Paper along with the Name and Address of AIPMT 2014 Examination centre.

    The AIPMT 2014 will be held on 4 May 2014 at various centers across the country.

    The Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) will conduct the All India Pre-Medical Entrance Test (AIPMT) has been conducted by the CBSE to determine the eligibility for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses Under 15% All India Quota seats and also for seats under the control of participating States/Universities/Institutions in the academic session 2014-15.

    The AIPMT replaces the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted for MBBS/BDS admission in 2013. However, the entrance exam syllabus remains the same as that for NEET UG.

    AIPMT 2014 will include a written paper consisting of 180 objective-type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) for the time duration of 3 hours.
