Central University of Punjab (CUP), formed by an act o Parliament, 2009 is one amongst the fastest developing universities of the country. The university is setting up 74 centres under 12 schools and requires Assistant Professors for some of the centres for which applications are invited from eligible aspirants.

Eligibility Criteria
- Good academic record with minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from accredited foreign University.
- Candidates must have cleared the NET/ CSIR/ SLET/SET.
- Applicants possessing PhD in accordance with the UGC Regulation 2009 do not require being NET/SLET/SET qualified.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their profile and will be called for an interview for the final selection.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 500 (General/ OBC candidates) and Rs 250 (SC/ST/ PWD applicants). The fee should be paid through the Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda
