Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), christened as ‘Namma Metro', a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka is a Special Purpose Vehicle entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Bangalore Metro Rail Project. Educational Qualification

• Section Engineer (in various Engineering disciplines): 4 years Engineering Degree in the concerned discipline or equivalent qualification
• Junior Engineer (in various Engineering disciplines): Matriculation plus three years Engineering Diploma in the concerned discipline or equivalent qualification
• Maintainers: Matriculation plus two years ITI in the desired specific Engineering Trade
• Customer Relation Manager: Matriculation, plus 2 and 3 years, Graduate Degree in BA/ BSc/ BCom/ BBM/ BBA
• Station Controller/ Train Operator: Matriculation plus three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electrical power Systems/ Industrial Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification or Three Year Degree in Bachelor of Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics Customer Relation Manager
• Assistant (Finance): Matriculation plus 2 and 3 years Bachelor Degree in Commerce

• Junior Engineer (in various Engineering disciplines): Maximum 25 years

Selection Procedure for recruitment in Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited: The selection will be made strictly as per merit, on the basis of written examination and Interview (85% and 15% respectively). Interview entails Aptitude/ Skill Test/ Psychological test wherever necessary. Short listed candidates will be called for verification of the original documents.

How to Apply for recruitment in Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited: Interested candidates need to apply online on the site http://bmrc.co.in/careers.htm Once you submit your application note down the application number generated, click on "Print acknowledgement and Bank Challan" to get the Bank Challan for payment of examination fee. Take a print out of the challan and pay the money at the nearest SBI branch.

Application Fee: Application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 200 and fee for SC and ST category candidates is Rs 100.

The Bank will return one copy affixing their "PAID" seal. The Bank will also mention the Bank "journal number" on the challan in the slot meant thereof.  If this number is not mentioned, please insist that this should be mentioned by the bank.     

Click on "Enter Bank Journal Number", enter your application number in the field, and date of birth in field and then press "OK". Then enter the journal number given by the Bank in field. Then click on "Submit" button.  Please note that unless you enter this journal number, the application will not be considered as complete and hence will not be accepted by BMRCL.
