The Bank has 3752 branches in India spread over all states/ union territories including specialized branches that are controlled through 50 Zonal Offices. - Officer JMG Scale I: Maximum 30 years

Selection Procedure for recruitment of Specialist Officer in Bank of India: Depending upon the number of candidates only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks under Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS (i.e. subject wise Objective Test) and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit shall be called for a Personal interview in the ratio of 1:3. Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 50% for General Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.
The final selection would be on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and Interview and strictly in the order of Merit.

Candidates are required to apply online only through website http://www.bankofindia.com/career.aspx
Application Fee: Application Fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs 400 and only intimation charge of Rs 50 will be charged from SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
The challan for payment of fees (in duplicate) will be made available on the Bank's website. The application fee must be paid in cash, separately for each post at any branch of Bank of India using this challan.

Once the payment of fees is made, the concerned branch will give him a Transaction Number. After applying Online, candidates should take two (2) Print-Outs of the duly filled in Computerised System Generated Application Form. The original receipt should be retained and produced at the time of Interview.
