CAT 2024 is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to various postgraduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes of IIMs. More than 2 lakh candidates appear for the exam every year. Certain points must be remembered by the candidates before appearing in the CAT 2024 exam. Here is the list of important points associated with the CAT exam centre 2024 shared below for reference purposes.
- The actual CAT 2024 exam centre details will be printed on the respective admit card.
- No request for changes in the exam centre will be entertained after the admit card is issued.
- There can be changes/modifications in the exam centre by the CAT authorities due to any unfavourable situations.
- Reach the exam centre on time as given on the admit card. Late entry may not be permitted.
CAT 2024 Exam Centre Guidelines
Candidates are highly advised to follow all the rules and regulations of the CAT 2024 exam centre. Failing to do so can lead to disqualification of their candidature. Here is the list of important guidelines for the CAT exam centre shared below for the ease of the candidates.
- Reach the exam centre at least 120 minutes before the exam time to avoid traffic issues and complete verification formalities on time.
- It is mandatory to carry the printout of the CAT admit card and valid ID proof to the CAT test centre.
- Once the verification is completed, find your exam hall as mentioned in the admit card and sit on your specified seat.
- Electronic devices, bags, books, notes, or any other study material are not permitted in the exam hall. If candidates are found with any of the prohibited items, then they will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
- Maintain decorum and behave properly in the exam hall to avoid being disqualified.
