CAT Examination 2012: 10 Students Scored Flawless 100 in CAT

The CAT Examination 2012 results got declared on 9 January 2013. CAT 2012 was coordinated by the IIM, Kozhikode (IIMK).

A fantastic figure of 255 girls and 1640 boys scored more than ninety nine percentage. Also, ten students scored a flawless hundred percentage in CAT.

There has been an up-trend this year, 2012 in the number of girls registering and appearing for the Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to management institutes, including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

Out of the ten wiz-kids who scored a perfect 100, one is a science student from the Delhi University and the rest are engineering students. Eight out of the ten hail from the IITs.

Four final year engineering students (girls) scored a fantabulous  99.99 percentile, the highest score among girls. All are final-year engineering students.

The Mumbai centre had 180 candidates, who scored 99 per cent or more, while 168 candidates from New Delhi, 157 from Bangalore, 105 from Hyderabad, 92 from Kolkata and 85 from Chennai had 99 per cent or more.
