    Q. If 3 times the 3rd term of an AP is equal to 7 times its 7th term, then find its 10th term.

    Q. The internal and external diameters of a hollow hemispherical shell are 6 cm and 10 cm respectively. It is melted and recast into a solid cone of base diameter 14 cm. Find the height of the cone so formed.

    Q. A conical vessel whose internal radius is 5 cm and height 24 cm is full of water. The water is emptied into a cylindrical vessel with internal radius 10 cm. Find the height to which the water rises.

    Q. Find the values of k for which the given equation has real and equal roots: 2x2 –10 x + k = 0.

    Q. A canal is 300 cm wide and 120 cm deep. The water in the canal is flowing with a speed of 20 km/h. How much area will it irrigate in 20 minutes if 8 cm of standing water is desired?
