Q: I have heard that CBSE provides counselling to students before exams to overcome anxiety and stress. How can I make use of this service? Is it free?
A: Yes it is true that CBSE provides counselling to students and parents over every issue that is a hurdle in the preparation of board exam. The first phase of this pre exam counselling starts from Feb 1st 2011 till April 15 2011. CBSE uses different modes of communication for stressed out students across geographical spread which includes telephonic conversation, Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), question and answer column in newspapers and online counselling through its own website. A toll free number is provided to students (1800 11 7002) which can be dialled from any part of the country.
