CBSE is making a plan to expand the re-evaluation structure brought in last session by counting more subjects & also facilitating checking of more than ten answers per paper. Presently, the board offers re-evaluation for 7 papers for Class 12th Board examinations. Furthermore, there is also a limit of 10 questions sought to be re-evaluated.

As per senior officials of CBSE, after the victorious pilot run for the Class 12th Board examinations conducted by CBSE, the facility is expected to be extended. "As of now, it is available only for English, Hindi, physics, chemistry, mathematics, political science and economics. Also, not all answers can be rechecked. A final decision is yet to be taken and the announcement is likely before the start of the 2015 Board exams."

It is expected that the re-evaluation facility is likely to be expanded to other significant subjects like history, accountancy, geography & business studies, among others. The stipulation of verification of grades/marks & acquiring photocopy of the evaluated answer sheets will also persist. CBSE will issue details of the initiatives before declaration of the 2015 results on its website.
