CBSE textbooks are not only limited in India, it has gained popularity across the border. Vietnam is the new city to have adapted the CBSE textbooks in their primary schools. In this context, Vietnam has asked for cooperation from India for extending their hands to work with them at the primary level.
Navneet Kalia, founder and chairman of Ismart Education emphasized on CBSE to get its footings in the Communist country like Vietnam. Kalia has introduced three major subjects- Math, Science and English in across 25 schools in major cities in Vietnam in their primary classes. According to him, these three subjects are out from any biasness, religion or anything.
Kalia during his visit to an event organized by the Indian High Commission said that he wants to change the mentality of people in regards to education and want to popularize CBSE system, that can be compared with Cambridge and American system of education.
