Q: What are the general guidelines for CBSE Proficiency tests in Mathematics?
A: Since the CBSE Proficiency test in Science is aimed to check higher level competencies in the subject, students should read NCERT science textbooks for class 9th and 10th. A lot of questions in the test may be unconventional. The maximum marks allotted for the test is 100 and will have duration of 2 and half hours. The test paper will be objective in nature with multiple choice questions, numerical questions, and column matching questions. The multiple choice question will have negative marking too.
