Remuneration: Rs.12300 per month (Consolidated)
Period of Engagement: 2 years
Qualifications required: Graduate with Hindi as main subject or equivalent; Should have studied English as one of the subjects at degree level; should be able to type minimum 25 words per minute (typing speed), both in Hindi and English; posses good knowledge in the use of computers.
Experience required: At least 3 years post qualification work experience in Hindi typing/translation/teaching.
Age Limit: not exceed 28 years (as on 31 January 2014)
Upper age limit is relax-able up to 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category candidates, up to 5 years for SC/ST category candidates, and up to 10 years for PWD (Persons With Disabilities) candidates.
2. Project Technician-II (Animator)-1 post
Post No: 56.2
Remuneration: Rs.14100 per month (Consolidated)
Period of Engagement: 1 year or up to 28 February 2015 whichever is earlier.
Qualifications required: Three years Diploma in Engineering or Graduation in Computer Science/Electronics/IT/Computer Application with Certificate in Animation.
Experience required: At least 1 year post qualification experience in Animation.
Age Limit: not exceed 30 years (as on 31 January 2014)
Upper age limit is relax-able up to 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category candidates, up to 5 years for SC/ST category candidates, and up to 10 years for PWD (Persons With Disabilities) candidates.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’performance in the Test and Interview.
Only short-listed candidates, after screening of academic records and experience mentioned in the application, will be called for Test and Interview.
The exact Date, time and venue of the Test and Interview will be intimated separately through e-mail.
Candidates shortlisted for Interview will be required to submit relevant documents along with one set photocopy while reporting for Selection Interview
Travel Allowance: SC/ST/PWD candidates appearing for interview at Thiruvananthapuram will be reimbursed II Class Sleeper to and fro train fare on production of proof of journey.
Processing Fees: Non-refundable processing fee of Rs.250 (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PWD candidates) is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram’.
Name of the Candidate and application number should be mentioned on the backside of the Demand Draft.

After submitting the online applications, candidates should take its print out and send it along with copies of relevant certificates/marks sheets and fee Demand Draft in original to The Senior HRD Officer, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing,Vellayambalam, Thiruvananthapuram–695033, so as to reach CDAC on or before 28 January 2014.
On the envelope carrying the application, candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post of ___________________”.
Candidates should retain a hard copy of application for submission at the time of Test/Interview, if shortlisted for.
