Central Vigilance Commission to introduce courses on corruption and ethics in schools & colleges

    In order to make students aware of the epidemic and endemic effect of corruption, the Central Vigilance Commission will introduce courses related to corruption and ethics.

    Central Vigilance Commission is in touch with all the leading educational bodies of the country like MHRD, CBSE, MCI and AICTE to make students aware of the malaise effect of corruption and bribery. According to the CVC Chairman KV Chowdhary, "From the Commission's side, we have been in touch with the Ministry of Human Resources Development, the Central Board for Secondary Education and also the AICTE and MCI to introduce simple course content to enable students right from the schools to the colleges to understand what corruption is, what bribery is and what integrity is...,".

    Addressing the gathering at the 13th anniversary of Vigilance Study Circle, he further added that course will contain contents in small portions for secondary school level till professional colleges.
