Confederation of Indian Industry's skills training parks provide training to the rural youth
Kamal Nath, Minister for Urban Development, Government of India, lays the foundation stone for the CII skills training park at Imlikheda, a village in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. This training park is the eighth centre to be set up by CII in their commitment to set up 10 skills development centres across India.
The aim of these centres will be to provide industry relevant training for the rural youth, trigger economic transformation and strengthen human resources in rural India. The training park will offer state-of-the-art equipment and conduct workshops for both men and women. Hostel facilities will accommodate both boys and girls.
Hari Bhartia, President, CII, Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, CII, Vikram Kirloskar, Vice Chairman, Toyota Kirloskar Motors and Naresh Trehan, heart surgeon were present on this occasion.
