Compartment examination of Class 12 and Improvement of Performance (IOP) examination for Class 10 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on July 16. CBSE official website www.cbse.nic.in has made the forms available for the same.
In these compartmental exams a total of 97,404 students of class 12 will take part. In the IOP examinations for Class 10, there would be 41,812 students who would take up the examination. For the compartmental examination and IOP, the last date for receipt of form without late fee is June 22. After this date the candidates would be charged Rs. 10 per day as late fee. The candidates can send their forms till June 30 with late fees.
For regular class 12 students, fees of Rs. 200 would be taken for one compartmental subject. For private students the fees for each paper is set to be Rs. 250. For one IOP subject, the Class 10 regular students would have to pay the fees of Rs. 200. Similarly private students have to shell out Rs. 250 for one subject. Consequently, if some students want to take up two improvement examinations and apply for two subject/upgrading of performance, the fees would be Rs. 400 for regular students and for private candidates it would be Rs. 500.
The declaration of result of these compartmental examinations has also been decided. For Class 12 compartmental exams the results would be declared on August 12 and for IOP the results would be out on August 13.
