Cochin Shipyard Limited invited applications for admission to 37th Batch Marine Engineering Training. The candidates eligible for the courses can apply through prescribed format on or before 01 July 2016.
A total of 32 seats are available for the 37th GME Batch approved by DG Shipping, Govt. of India.
Eligibility for Cochin Shipyard Limited Marine Engineering Training
Candidate must be unmarried graduate Mechanical/ Mechanical Automation/ Naval Architecture Engineers with minimum 50% marks in engineering , and 50% marks in English for Std. X or XII. Candidate must also be in the age group of 28 years. Candidate must also have Medical fitness certificate from Medical Officer approved by Directorate General of Shipping.
On successful completion of the training candidates obtain Part A of Class IV Certificate of Competency required for joining any Merchant Ship as a Junior Marine Engineer as per STCW 2010.
