CSIR–National Institute of Oceanography notified Recruitment for various technicians posts 2013

CSIR – National Institute of Oceanography invited applications from Indian Nationals for Recruitment to the various Posts of technicians. The candidates eligible for the posts can send applications in the prescribed format on or before 13 January 2014. The National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) was established on 1 January 1966. It is one of 37 constituent laboratories of the CSIR - Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, an autonomous research organization in India. The institute has its headquarters in the coastal state of Goa, and regional centres in Kochi, Mumbai and Vizag.

Age Limit:

Educational Qualifications

• T-201 Laboratory Assistant cum Technician: 10^th class passed with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and National or State trade certificate or 2 years experience as an apprentice training as laboratory assistant from a recognized institution/industry/research laboratory.
• T-202 Laboratory Assistant cum Technician: 10^th class passed with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and National or State trade certificate or 2 years experience as an apprentice training as laboratory assistant from a recognized institution/industry/research laboratory.
• T-203 Electrician: 10^th class passed with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and 2 years ITI certificate in Electrician OR National or State trade certificate OR 2 years experience as an electrical apprentice training from a recognized institution/industry.
• T-204 Horticulture: 10^th class passed with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and National or State trade certificate or 2 years experience as horticulturist or apprentice training in agriculture field from a recognized institution/related institute.
• T-205 Guest house Management: 10^th class passed with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and 2 years course certificate in Hotel Management or Catering OR National or State trade certificate OR 2 years experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in Catering or Hotel Management/establishment.
• T-206 EPABX Maintenance: 10^th class passed with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and 2 years ITI certificate in Information Technology or Electronic System Maintenance or Electronics or Electronic Mechanic or Instrument Mechanic OR National/State trade certificate OR 2 years experience as Electronics Technician/Instrument Mechanic/apprentice training from a recognized institution/industry.
• T-207 Civil works: 10^th class passed with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and 2 years course certificate in civil construction OR National/State trade certificate OR 2 years experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in building management or construction establishment.
• T-208 Computer operator: 10^th class passed with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and 12^th in Commerce or 2 years course certificate in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) or Information Technology OR National/State trade certificate OR 2 years experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in computer based activities.
• T-209 Electronics: 10^th class passed with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and 2 years ITI certificate in Electronics or Electronic Mechanic or Instrument Mechanic OR National / State trade certificate OR 2 years experience as Electronics Technician/Instrument Mechanic/apprentice training from a recognized institution/industry.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1900
