DAIICT Counselling Announced

    DAIICT Counselling Announced:
    The counselling procedure for Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) has been scheduled from July 14 to 18, 2014 for admissions in various undergraduate engineering programmes of the institute. Counselling will take place at the DAIICT campus and candidates have to come along with their parents. Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) is a UGC recognized statutory university.
      The First Merit List for DAIICT B.Tech Admissions 2014 was announced on July 14, 2014. All the candidates whose names are there in the merit list should come for the counselling procedure according to the counselling schedule.
      The counselling procedure for the admissions has been started from July 14, 2014 and will end on July 18, 2014. The DAIICT B.Tech Admissions 2014 Counselling will be inclusive of verification of the candidates and their academic credentials such as identity, age, academic qualifications and category. After complete confirmation, provisional admission will be offered to the right candidates.
      Admissions to Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology will be on the basis of DAIICT B.Tech 2014 Merit list. The final list of selected students will be announced on July 21, 2014.

    About DAIICT:
    DA-IICT is a University established under an Act of Gujarat State Legislature (Act No. 6 of 2003). It is also UGC recognized statutory university and it has announced admissions to the fourteenth batch (2014 Batch) of its B Tech (Information and Communication Technology) (ICT) program and second batch (2014 batch) of B Tech (Honours n ICT with minor in Computational Science).The last date for DAIICT B.Tech Application Form 2014 has been extended till July 4, 2014.

    Number of Seats:
    B.Tech (Information and Communication Technology (ICT) – 240
    B.Tech (Honours in ICT with minor in Computational Science) - 60
    Gujarat Category: 50% of seats are reserved for candidates  who  have  passed  the  Qualifying  Examination from  the schools  located  in  the State of Gujarat. These seats are to be filled filled through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat.

    All India Category: The remaining fifty per cent will be filled in directly by DA-IICT.
    In addition to the 300 seats, 30 seats will be offered to Non-Resident Indians/Foreign Nationals through DAFS.
