DGVCL issued notification inviting online applications for recruitment to the posts of Vidhyut Sahayak (Jr. Engineer) in the two disciplines of Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Vacancy Details
1. Vidhyut Sahayak (Jr. Engineer): 22 posts
Remuneration:
For 1st year: Rs. 18000 per month
For 2nd year: Rs. 20000 per month
Eligibility Criterion
Age limit: (as on 2 March 2014)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 30 years
[Maximum age limit for Reserved category candidates is 35 years. The upper age limit is relax-able to up t 5 years for Female Candidates and up to 10 years for PH candidates]
Discipline-wise qualification details
1. Vidhyut Sahayak / Jr. Engineer (Electrical Engineering)
Qualifications: B.Ed. / B. Tech (Electrical)
2. Vidhyut Sahayak / Jr. Engineer (Civil Engineering)
Qualifications: B.Ed. / B. Tech (Civil)
NOTE: Knowledge of computer operations & Gujarati language is essential for both the posts.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written test/ interview as the case may be for selection
Selected Vidyut Sahayak (Jr. Engineer-Elect/ Civil) will be appointed for duration of two years. They will be considered for appointment to the post of Jr. Engineer in the pay scale of Rs.17300-38610 on regular cadre-establishment subject to successful completion of two years as Vidyut Sahayak.
Application fee: Non-refundable Application fee of Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC/ ST category candidates) is to be paid in the form of a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited’ payable at Surat.
