The Delhi University offers MBBS course in three Medical Colleges such as Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC); Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC); and University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), and the BDS course is offered by DU at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS).
The Faculty of Medical Sciences, Delhi University shall utilize the marks/merit of NEET (UG)-2013 for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under 85% quota for the Session-2013. Qualifying NEET (UG)-2013 --National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to MBBS/BDS courses conducted by CBSE-- is mandatory to get admission to MBBS/BDS courses Session-2013 in the institutions approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Dental Council of India (DCI).
For MBBS: Total duration of the course will be four and half years, which will be followed by one year compulsory internship training.
For BDS: The total course duration is four years followed by one year mandatory internship.
The lower and upper age limits are 17 years and 18 years, respectively, as on or before 31st December, 2013. Please make note that the candidates completing the age of 17 years as on 01 January 2014 or later will not be eligible for admission.
• Candidates who passed 12th exam under 10th+2 system are eligible for admission with required subjects like Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English under a recognized school which has been conducting regular classes within New Delhi only.
• Candidates should have 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. (40% marks for SC/ST category and 45% marks for OBC category).

The duly filled in Application Form along with the requisite demand draft/ banker’s cheque for Rs 750 for General/OBC category and Rs 550 for SC/ST /PH category in favour of “The Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi” should be sent to the below mentioned address on or before 28 June 2013 up to 05:00 P.M.
