Eligibility Criteria for Department of Economic Affairs Senior Officer Post Job:

Educational Qualification:

1. Officers holding accounts related posts in any organized accounts or audit department  of Central Government (including Ministry of Railways)-

• Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or;

• With two year’s service in the grade  rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade pay of Rs. 4600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre  or department or;

• With six year’s service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800/- with the Grade pay of Rs. 4200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department or;

2. Section officers of Central Secretariat Services or Junior Accounts Officers (Ex-Cadre)  in Pay band-2 with the grade pay of Rs. 4800/- appointed on regular basis in the parent cadre/department and fulfilling the requirement of-:

• Having successfully completed training in cash and accounts at institute of secretariat training and management (ISTM) and

• Three years experience in budget and accounts or;

3. Assistant of central secretariat service in PB-2 with the Grade pay of Rs. 4600/- with two year’s service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the parent cadre or department and fulfilling the requirement of -:

• Having successfully completed training in cash and accounts at Institute of secretariat training and management (ISTM) and

• Three year’s experience in Budget and Accounts
