Assistant: 5 posts
Type of recruitment: Direct Recruitment
Pay Scale: Pay Band 1 of Rs.5200‐ 20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400 per month
Eligibility Criterion:
Maximum Age Limit: 28 years
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry in Computer, Proficiency and knowledge of computer applications and operations.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Written Test/ Skill Test/ Interview, as applicable. Only short-listed candidates would be called for the Test/ Interview.
Travel Allowance: Outstation SC/ ST candidates called for the Written Test/ Interview would be paid 2nd Class sleeper Train fare by shortest route (Both ways).
Period of probation: 01 year (for direct recruitment) of which 6 months would be as ‘Trainee’ with a consolidated Stipend of Rs.7600 per month.

After submitting the online application, candidates should take its print out and send it along with fee DD/ proof of application fee paid through NEFT, a recent passport size photograph and attested copies of required certificates/ testimonials to ‘The Deputy Registrar (Admin.), Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Girinagar, Pune-411025’ by Registered/ Speed Post so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 7 November 2014.
On the envelope carrying the application, candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post of Assistant against Advt. No. 03/2014 (NST-DIAT (DU)).”
