Difference between Computer Based Test and paper Based Test in Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA)

Q: I am preparing for MAT exam to be held in February 2012. How is Computer Based Test different from Paper Based Test?

A: As the name suggests, a candidate opting for Computer Based Test will give his/ her test on with questions presented on the computer monitor. The computer will be connected to a server, which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer. The computer based test will be held in different time slots at specific test venues from 1 February 2012.

Paper Based Test on the other hand is held on a single day for all candidates wherein the Question Paper & OMR Answer Sheet is provided at the Test Centre. The February 2012 MAT paper based test will be held on 5 February 2012 from 10 am to 12.30 pm.
