Ques. On what topics should a candidate preparing for Common Written Examination [CWE] 2012 for Clerical Cadre posts in Public Sector Banks focus on?
Ans. The Common Written Examination [CWE] 2012 for Clerical Cadre posts in Public Sector Banks will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in December, 2012.
The 2 hour written test will consist of one Paper of 200 Objective Type- Multiple choice questions. The paper would be divided into five parts. Each section will have 40 questions of one mark each on Reasoning, English language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry and Computer.

Except for the English Language section, questions in all other sections will be set in both English and Hindi.
There will be a negative marking of one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question for each wrong answer. If for any question, a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as wrong even if one of the given answers happens to be right and 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
