A: No, you are not. Science graduates with Botany/Zoology/Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science as their subject can only apply for the post.
You can, however, apply for Assistant Grade -III (General) -- Post Code A, and for Assistant Grade -III (Depot) -- Post Code D. Educational qualification for these posts is graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Q2: I am a Science graduate and my DoB is 19/06/1986. Am I eligible to apply for Assistant Grade III vacancies with the FCI.
A: No, you are not eligible to apply since the maximum age limit is 27 years on 01/08/2012. But you are 27 years, 1 month and 12 days old on 01/08/2012. So, you have crossed the maximum age limit.
Q3: If selected will I be treated as a Central Government employee?
A3. The notification clearly states that although recruitments to the posts in FCI would be done by the State Selection Commission, those selected would not have the status of Central Government employee and thus would not be entitled to any benefit admissible to Central Government civilian employees.
Q4: Can I apply for multiple posts? If yes, then do I need to fill separate form for each post?
A4. Yes, a candidate can apply for more than one post through one application only. However, they would be considered for only one post based on this recruitment.
Q5: What all documents are to be sent to the SSC along with the application?
A5. No documents are required to be sent to the SSC. Hence, the candidate should satisfy himself/herself that he/she is eligible for the post. If any of the details furnished in the application is found to be false on scrutiny of documents, the candidature of such candidate would be cancelled despite, his/her qualifying the written exam.

A6. The online application is in two parts. Last date for Part-I registration is 19 September 2012 and for Part-II registration is 21 September 2012
