According to the statement released on the Thursday, Indian team won five Medals including 2 silver and three bronze at the 54th International Mathematics Olympiad.
The student won the silver medal were Sangik Saha, Kolkata and Shubham Sinha, New Delhi and the students who won bronze medals are Pallav Goyal (Bhilai), Pranab Nuti (Hyderabad) and Anish Prasad Sevekari (Pune).
Along with, Chaitanya Tappu (Pune) was also the a member of the team. The event was conducted in Santa Marta, Colombia where 528 students take part from 97 countries.
This six member team was sponsored by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, an institution under the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai.
