Founder’s Day Celebrations (FDC) 2015-16

The Founder’s Day Celebrations at Mody University began on 22nd January 2015 with Lakshmi-Yajna in the morning. It was followed by Shri Ram Katha by Swami Rajeshwaranand Saraswati of Jhansi and was attended by Mr. R.P. Mody, founder of Mody University, and other dignitaries.

The Founder’s Day Celebrations at Mody University began on 22nd January 2015 with Lakshmi-Yajna in the morning. It was followed by Shri Ram Katha by Swami Rajeshwaranand Saraswati of Jhansi and was attended by Mr. R.P. Mody, founder of Mody University, and other dignitaries.

The collector of Sikar district, Mr. L.N. Soni, the chief guest of the function, inaugurated the Mody School Exhibition. The Art and Craft section depicted the lives of Lord Krishna and Gautam Buddha through vivid portraits. The chief guest heaped adulation upon the participative students and teachers, and asserted that Mody University would make a mark on international landscape for imparting value-based education.

The co-founder of Ekal Foundation, Mrs. Manju Srivastava, held a special session on the topic ‘Beyond the Concrete Jungle’. She shed light on her extensive work in educating tribal children. A short film on the remarkable work of Ekal Foundation was broadcast and was followed by an enriching interactive session with students.

The day was concluded by a three-hour cultural programme in the evening where Management, Law, and Arts, Science and Commerce students put up stellar performances in a host of activities. All the ceremonies of the day pertaining to Mody University were put together under the aegis of Dr. Satish Shastri, Dean of Law.

Dr. Vishwanath (Vish) Prasad, President of Mody University, and Deans of the colleges graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. All the guests enjoyed the events throughout the day.
