Gujarat Ecological Education & Research (GEER) Foundation, Gandhinagar invited applications for recruitment to the post of RS/GIS Person, Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Marine Flora, Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Marine Flora, Technical Assistant, Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Assistant. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format on or before 28 April 2016.
Under GEER Foundation Recruitment 2016, out of total 13 posts, 01 post is for RS/GIS, 01 post for SRF, 01 post for JRF, 03 posts for Technical Assistant, 01 post for Laboratory Technician and 06 posts for Laboratory Assistant.
Eligibility for RS/GIS Person: MSc in Geoinformatics & Remote Sensing from recognized university with Knowledge and hands on experience of RS/GIS tools including – ARCH GIS-Ver- 10, ERDAS-11 etc.
Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Marine Flora: MSc in Botany/Forestry from recognized university with minimum 2 years relevant research experience as JRF.
Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Marine Flora: MSc in Botany/Forestry from recognized university with minimum 1 year relevant research experience, with good performance assessment for the period of experience considered for such eligibility and knowledge of Mangroves, Halophytes, Sea grasses, Sea weeds etc.
Eligibility for Technical Assistant: MSc in Zoology/Marine Science/Botany/Forestry/ Environment Science and knowledge of marine fauna invertebrates, mammals, arthropoda, mollusks, fish, Mangroves, Halophytes, Sea grasses, Sea weeds, using sophisticated and field equipments.
Eligibility for Laboratory Technician: MSc in Life Science/Analytical Chemistry/Environmental Science/Biotechnology from recognized university with 2 Yrs experience as Lab Technician and having adequate skills of using & maintaining sophisticated equipments (HPLC, PCR, GC, TOC, etc).
Eligibility for Laboratory Assistant: BSc or MSc in Life Science/Analytical Chemistry/Environmental Science/Biotechnology from recognized university with 2 Yrs experience as Lab Assistant and knowledge of using sophisticated and field equipments.
