Eligibility Criteria for Junior Consultant & Other Posts
Educational Qualification:
• Junior Consultant: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
• Junior ENT Surgeon: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate Degree in the speciality concerned. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
• Junior Anaesthetist under ESI Scheme: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate Degree in the speciality concerned. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
• Ayurvedic Doctor under ESI Scheme: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the Second, Third and Fourth Schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970). (ii) Enrolment on the Central or State Register of Indian Medicine. (iii) Three years of Ayurvedic practice, preferably in a recognized hospital or a dispensary. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
• Subject Matter Specialist (Fisheries) in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, South: (i) Master’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Master’s Degree in Marine Science or equivalent from a recognised University. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
• Assistant Public Prosecutor: (i) A degree in Law from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification. (ii) Must have practiced as an Advocate for 2 years. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Age Limit for Junior Consultant & Other Posts: 40 years
