Gujarat PSC Notified Recruitment for 39 Various Posts 2014

Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Physician/Superintendent, Ophthalmic Surgeon, Gynaecologist and Dermatologist. The candidates eligible for the post can apply online on or before 16 July 2014.

3. Gynaecologist Class-I, Employees State Insurance Scheme: 4 posts
4. Dermatologist, Gujarat Health & Medical Service, (Specialist Service) Class-I: 12 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Physician/Superintendent: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree or any other qualifications, Post Graduation, basic knowledge of computer application and adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
• Ophthalmic Surgeon: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree or any other qualifications, Post Graduate Diploma in Ophthalmology, basic knowledge of computer application and adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
• Gynaecologist: MBBS and M.D. or M.S. (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), basic knowledge of computer application and adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
• Dermatologist: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree or any other qualifications, Post Graduate Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology, M.D.(Dermatology) of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or an equivalent qualification, basic knowledge of computer application and adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.

Age Limit:

• Maximum age of the candidate should be 40 years for Physician/Superintendent, Ophthalmic Surgeon & Dermatologist as on the last date of receipt of application.
• Maximum age of the candidate should be 35 years for Gynaecologist as on the last date of receipt of application.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), Main Examination & Viva Voce Test.

How to Apply

• Candidates are required to apply on line through GPSC website on or before 16 July 2014.
• After filing the online application form, candidates have to send print out of the system generated application form along with attested copies of all required Certificates /Documents to “GPSC, First Floor, Bahumali Makan, Laldarvaja, Ahmedabad – 380001 before 24 July 2014.
