Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) is becoming the deciding factor year after the year in the IAS Prelims Exam. CSAT is the test of the aptitude which should be possessed by the civil servant. Basically it is the test of the approach of the civil servants towards the data analysis, Report processing and the administrative situation arising in the day to day administration.
One More component which is added indirectly in the IAS Examination is the evaluation of ethical and moral thinking of the candidate. The candidates are adjudged of their credibility, probity and the mindset to serve the society at large. So the candidates must prepare thoroughly for this CSAT paper as there is no certainty of the General Studies Paper I of IAS Prelims and only a thorough preparation of CSAT can ensure a seat in the IAS Main Exam.
