Who can apply?
Candidates with minimum educational qualification of Higher Secondary (12th) with Mathematics and Physics, and Two years Industrial Training Course from a recognized Institute in Radio Technician OR Electronics OR Electronics & Communication are eligible to apply for it. Candidate must also be in the age group of 18-27 years.
What are the Selection Criteria?
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination and trade test.
The candidate has to appear in the written examination (Paper-I and Paper-II) at one of the test centers mentioned above. Paper-II of only those candidates will be evaluated who come up to a certain standard in Paper-I. On the basis of their combined performance in Paper-I and Paper-II, the candidates would be shortlisted for the trade test, the date, place and time of which would be intimated to the candidates at their email ID provided at the time of online registration.
What is the Examination Scheme?
The Written examination will comprise of two papers. Each of the paper will be of 02 hours duration and will carry a total of 80 marks, each. Paper 1 will be Objective Type multiple choice test on General Studies / Awareness, Numerical Ability, Science, Reasoning, etc. Paper 2 will be Descriptive Paper (Matric level) a) English comprehension, b) Test of English language, antonyms, synonyms, one word substitution, etc and c) Test of elementary mathematics and science.
The Trade Test will be practical based & technical in nature commensurate with the job profile and will carry a total of 40 marks.
