IIM Nagpur has finally completed its final Placement for the 3rd PGP batch 2017-19. IIM Nagpur, which is mentored by IIM Ahmedabad, in its official statement, has confirmed that, “IIM Nagpur completed the final placement process for the third batch of students enrolled in its flagship Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP 2017-19).” Here are the MBA placement highlights for the current round of placements.

The final placements at IIM Nagpur campus witnessed top brands visiting the campus to hire the management graduates. Some of them includes, MuSigma, Berger Paints, V-Guard, Schindler, Sutherland Global, GroupM, Decimal Point Analytics, ValueLabs, JK Technosoft, FSS Global, Aspect Ratio Data, Deloitte Consulting, and ZS Associates among others. Start-up firms such as Moglix, Build Supply, Fortigo, Jigserv Digital also participated this time to recruit the MBA graduates from the institute. With this placement trend, the consulting remained on the top followed by Analytics, Ecommerce, FMCD, IT and Manufacturing from where candidates received placement offers.

The 3rd PGP batch 2017-19 locked highest domestic package at Rs.20 Lacs, and the average remained at Rs.12.35 Lacs. The average package offered for the top 10% and first quartile of the batch was Rs.17.48 Lacs and Rs.15.45 Lacs respectively, and the median package for the batch was Rs.12 Lacs.
In the current MBA placement drive, Sales & Marketing, Consulting, and Analytics were highly sought-after roles by the candidates. These sectors were followed by lucrative profiles in other areas such as finance, and operations among other roles. This year there was an upsurge of thirty-seven percent in the offers extended in the domain of consulting as compared to the last year.
